I'm beginning to get the impression that the Jack Thompson is the Sarah Palin of game politics. There is a huge difference that doing your own research makes when making your mind up about a person. I\'ll also grant you that the media does often have a liberal lean. However, Thompson\'s reputation is his own doing. The rude, abusive, threatening, and, frankly, unbalanced things that he\'s done in the past are real and well documented. He has *earned* the ire that most of the gamer community direct at him. If this represents some \"new Jack Thompson\", some may welcome it, eventually. But, one point does not make a trend.
