		<description>I would like to see some of this documentation cited from first-hand sources.  I&#039;m beginning to get the impression that the Jack Thompson is the Sarah Palin of game politics.  There is a huge difference that doing your own research makes when making your mind up about a person.</description>

I\&#039;ll also grant you that the media does often have a liberal lean.

However, Thompson\&#039;s reputation is his own doing. The rude, abusive, threatening, and, frankly, unbalanced things that he\&#039;s done in the past are real and well documented. He has *earned* the ire that most of the gamer community direct at him. 

If this represents some \&quot;new Jack Thompson\&quot;, some may welcome it, eventually. But, one point does not make a trend.</description>
