A New Life

I’ve been hammering away for the last couple of years trying to get my own game company off the ground, burning the midnight oil. I catch myself physically falling apart only to pick up my reserves and try again promising that “this time” I will take it easy on myself.
But I don’t. And I really don’t know if I would have hospitalized myself for trying so hard. But thankfully, I won’t ever have to find that answer now.
I’ve had a sudden turn of events that really has turned my life upside-down. It truly is the answer to all my prayers. I’ve been hired to be a game designer and developer for a small company called “Merry Fools.”
I’ve been offered the opportunity to make all the games I’ve wanted to make. In exchange, I will darn well conquer the world.
Why settle for... Millions?
This does change a lot of my plans though. I will be dissolving Bitty Bash. It no longer makes any sense to be an LLC for game design and development when that is my full-time job. So I will be sorry to let it go, but it is for the best.
So, I can no longer really say that I am a mega-corporate programmer who moonlights as a crime-fighting game-programming ninja. I’m now at 24-hour ninja crime-fighting service!

Hey Paolo – Congratulations! I wondered why I had not heard from you in a while. A month ago I thought I had found my dream job, developing software for autistic kids – but it ended up falling through. So now I’ll just have to create my dream job.
We’re hoping to have our first iPad game for autistic kids out this spring. Best of luck to you!

I’m very happy to hear that you no longer will be destroying your body that much! It’s not good, you’ll need that in 20 years
