A New Life
by Paolo on Feb.12, 2011, under News
I’ve been hammering away for the last couple of years trying to get my own game company off the ground, burning the midnight oil. I catch myself physically falling apart only to pick up my reserves and try again promising that “this time” I will take it easy on myself.
But I don’t. And I really don’t know if I would have hospitalized myself for trying so hard. But thankfully, I won’t ever have to find that answer now.
I’ve had a sudden turn of events that really has turned my life upside-down. It truly is the answer to all my prayers. I’ve been hired to be a game designer and developer for a small company called “Merry Fools.”
I’ve been offered the opportunity to make all the games I’ve wanted to make. In exchange, I will darn well conquer the world.
This does change a lot of my plans though. I will be dissolving Bitty Bash. It no longer makes any sense to be an LLC for game design and development when that is my full-time job. So I will be sorry to let it go, but it is for the best.
So, I can no longer really say that I am a mega-corporate programmer who moonlights as a crime-fighting game-programming ninja. I’m now at 24-hour ninja crime-fighting service!

Coming Soon! Book Review!
by Paolo on Jan.24, 2011, under News, Reviews
Lots of great news coming down the way which I will start blogging about. The first is great news from Michael James Williams who has published a new book and which I am in the process of reviewing.
Michael is a great writer and is very helpful for many of us newbie Flash developers who need help in getting started. His blog is full of great insight.
I’ll be sure to post my thoughts on his new book, “Facebook Graph API Development with Flash“, that helps people crack into the mysterious Facebook API using Flash! Check back soon!
Reboot
by Paolo on Oct.16, 2010, under News
Ok… Here is the reboot to the Bitty Bash Games site:
It’s way simpler and only has a Twitter feed for now. Eventually I will migrate it over to a blog again, once there is an actual game that I can post. The game is about 50% done. And I’m taking the time to enjoy just making the game now. Especially on this refurbished computer.
Soon, I will be doing a reboot of this site as well and taking down the blog itself. I’ll be keeping the original text of the site, so I can repost them. But for the most part, I think I whine a bit too much on blog. So hopefully, I can get something more substantial on the next go around.
